Sela Mager Ph.D.
Dr. Mager received his Doctorate from the Faculty of
Medicine at the prestigious
Israel Institute of Technology.
He then worked as a research fellow in Molecular
Neuroscience at the California Institute of Technology.
He later accepted a position as Assistant Professor in
the Department of Physiology at UNC Chapel Hill’s
School of Medicine. He has published numerous studies
on various biological transporters, including the serotonin
transporter, a major target for many psychiatric medications.

Dr. Mager initially became interested in neurofeedback as a tool to help his
daughter better focus on schoolwork.  Having discovered the benefits of
neurofeedback in improving learning, as well as realizing its broad potential for
enhancing brain function and alleviating many conditions such as ADD/ADHD. Dr.
Mager has devoted himself to providing this empowering alternative to medical
treatments. Since embarking on this path, he has worked with children,
adolescents and adults, observing great improvement in a wide range of areas.
